First off, I want to give a big shout-out to Richard, who has made a brilliant addition to the pub’s offerings. They now serve Smashed Drynks, which are absolutely delightful. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re definitely missing out! They’re a refreshing and tasty choice for anyone looking to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage with friends.
The Funky Monkey has such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing evening or a lively night out with mates. The staff are friendly and always ready to make your visit special. With the addition of Smashed Drynks, this pub really has something for everyone.

About the Pub
The bar, which opened in December 2023, was transformed from a former hairdresser known as “Funky Monkey.” The main bar area is located at the entrance level, with additional tables and chairs towards the back. Downstairs, you’ll find a cosy lounge with a stove and a separate meeting area. The pub serves tea, coffee, and cakes all day, with alcoholic beverages available from 12 noon. Deli-style snacks can be enjoyed at any time. Parking is conveniently located next to the Co-op store.
